Dunno if it was a glitch or not; If you died, you kept all the money you made. It could have been a mechanic. Other than that, great game!

nope, that's not a glitch...we intentionally let you keep all the money, this is to help players get better weapons or mercs, in case they keep failing in the same level over and over and over again >.<
